‘Darshna’ – Davey’s Townhouse as the name gives it away is the town residence of Karthik and Ingrid Davey who are ardent dog lovers and share a passion for the outdoors. Though they spend most of their time at their safari homestay called Dhole’s Den in Bandipur National Park, they frequent Mysore every week. Ingrid is a banker by profession while Karthik is a tour operator organising private tours for Europeans into India. It’s his dream to work from almost anywhere on earth.

we decided to open up the townhouse to welcome humans and pets alike and offer the same luxury to both. Davey’s Townhouse is a modern interpretation of home and places design in the forefront of your stay but not letting functionality left far behind.

Idee Globus Frankfurt: It was a very comfortable stay at the townhouse. Though 8 kms away from railway station it takes just 10 minutes to reach. The room was clean, neat and the place had a designer feel to it. They were friendly enough to pick us up from the railway station. For sightseeing its ideally situated. Just 6 kms from Rangannathithu Bird Sanctuary and 8 kms from Srirrangapatna fort. On the second day we managed to spend time at the famous Somnathpur temple. Breakfast was tasty and we enjoyed it.

Daveys Townhouse was just perfect for our visit to Mysore. We stayed 3 nights there and had enough time to visit all the places in and around Mysore. It was fantastic to go around on a bicycle and explore the riverside of Cauvery. They gladly reserved tables in good restaurants in Mysore and offered to pick us up after the meal.
